You can walk along the lake shore for miles, when the water level allows. This section is famous for petoskeys and other beautiful stones. They come in many sizes - looking for them is fun for all!
Lake Michigan changes its appearance every year. At one time some additional feet of sand are piled up, at another time it retreats a little further into the lake. The beach, however, remains, only the exact form is irregular.
